Virtual Tours of Hotels and Clubs
Suitable for marketing Hotels, Leisure and Fitness Clubs, Golf Clubs and Conference Centres.
VR Vistas creates virtual tours to increase visitors. Tours are made vibrant and appealing. A key example is of this Hotel pool.
We create virtual tours are different from our competitors because:
- We specialise in creating information-rich tours;
- We throw in multimedia and Internet resources to entertain the visitor and enrich their online experience;
- We can embed real people to give a really personal welcome (uses video with traditional green screen technology).
Put yourself in the visitor's position:
When designing a tour for hotels and clubs, it is best to put
yourself in the shoes of the visitor. What questions are
asked most? What do they need to know? Then ensure
that these questions are answered in an entertaining manner
inside the virtual tour. In this way guests learn about
your venue and their desire to visit increases.
The tour starts in the Reception:
- Provide buttons that link to your website with specific information on room costs and availability;
- If there are continually favourable reports on TripAdvisor, place a TripAdvisor button link directly to the feedback;
- Provide a Google map button linking to location together with post code or GPS code that visitors can use in their Sat Navs to locate the venue. Place information on the map about local activities - walks, golf clubs etc;
- Provide a link to a late booking website - perhaps make this a notice on the hotel placard or notice board to "Click here for late bookings";
- Add a Wifi symbol with appropriate information;
- Give directions to the toilets! Perhaps with a big arrow and a label along the corridor;
- For that unique and warm welcome have an attractive young lady/Manager appear in video form to greet the visitor. Tell them what a great place it is and how the staff are more than ready to help. If there's a fireplace, light the fire (live video in the grate).
In the Restaurant:
- On entry open up a tab containing buttons which link to any Restaurant awards;
- Place a menu on a table. Visitors can then pick this up to view it. (Click on it and it will fly up in full view, click again for it to twirl back into place).
- Place a magnifying glass on a wine bottle. When visitors click on this they can view the wine menu or even a video of the cellars;
- Put a poster on the wall specifying meal times;
- Place a live clock on the wall to make customers aware of the time;
- Display the hotel's telephone number for people to book the restaurant.
Conference Venue / Wedding Reception
- Show panoramas of one function evolving into another using the same techniques as dayandnight.
The Interface:
- Provide an interactive floor plan containing clickable areas to visit other virtual tours in the hotel or place a key on the Reception desk and link it to a virtual tour of a bedroom;
- Background MP3 music or commentary can accompany the whole tour.
